No major surprises in the last night’s matches, other than Man City not being able to close the match after a 3-0 lead. Feyenoord completed a great come back to earn a draw that leaves more questions than answers in the Citizen side.
Tonight, the attention will be focused on Anfield, where Liverpool receives Real Madrid. Merengues, who have lost two out of four matches, are not allowed to fail again if they want to qualify within the top 8. Liverpool stays at a comfortable position within the top 3 and pending this match. It will start at 9 PM CET and I will be watching it.
The, Aston Villa receives Juventus. Villains will try to return to the winning pathway after losing their previous match against Brugge. Since that match, they have been able to add just one point out of six in the Premier League, being situated 8th in the local tournament. Juventus are situated at the middle of the table, with 7 points. This year, they have managed to earn 4 points in their away matches at Champions League.
The third match will bring us Monaco, one of the surprises this year, against Benfica. Portuguese have been erratic with two wins, against Atletico and Red Star, and two lost matches against Feyenoord and Bayern.
