My personal theory is that BitClout paid him (and others) to tweet.
And Breedlove thought, what could possibly go wrong? It's just one tweet.
Of course, I can't prove it, so...
Unless he's publicly denied this, you're probably right. I don't think he'd outright lie but this whole fiasco makes me think he might lie by omission.
