32 seconds left with a timeout and you run out the clock... Unbelievable haha, that's way worse than the time Dak Prescott ran for a first down vs 49ers and ran out the time.
I remember that Dak play🤣🤣 such a bone head move.
That's what I told my dad: "Geez, that's something Dak would do in the playoffs."
Coach is to blame for this
Definitely but Williams needs to be more aware. It’s not like he was rushed he could have snapped that ball at 11 seconds but kept trying to read the D.
He’s a rookie though not like he’s a 10 year vet and made this mistake. The coach has to protect his young talent
They played a good second half. Williams has so much talent and potential but he is a rookie and it shows. Some really bad decisions at the worst times.
Absolutely agree. I'm starting to think Chicagos coaching is the problem. Fields goes to Pittsburgh and has been completely fine. Even if he was benched for Russ (cmon now they paid Russ to start, they were never going to sit him) and fields can only benefit from having good coaching in Pittsburgh.
Now Caleb is looking out of his depth? Red flags showing in the bears organisation and I don't think it's the talent on the team.
The two games I watched of Caleb he definitely has the skills and arm to be really good in the NFL but what happened today is all coaching.
Caleb made a lot of bad decisions today. Trying to take huge shots down the field into coverage on 3rd and 4th down when guys were open underneath for easy first downs. Taking sacks when he should have been able to at least throw the ball away.
He is a rookie. He flashes brilliance at times. Game savvy and decision making will improve.
Ho-ly shit. What a complete cock up from the bears at the end of that. 30seconds on the clock... Down to 5 before they snap it?? With a TO in hand. That's awful clock management.
Bears almost had the lions there. Credit where it's due, they played a great 2nd half, and just like you said GR, you gotta control ToP so the lions O can't start ramping it up on you.
