I really like the structure of CFB OT. In the first OT period each team gets the ball on the 25 yard line for a chance to score a TD. If it is still tied after the first two overtime periods they go to alternating 2 point conversions to determine the game and play until one team makes it and the other misses.
It's really exciting.

Interesting. I don't thing that's how it was the last time I followed college football.

Forgot to mention. The second OT period when teams get the ball on the 25 yard line. If they score a TD they must go for 2. In the first OT period they can kick an extra point or go for 2.

Next week I will do a post comparing OT rules in different sports and leagues and maybe we can add that to next week's agenda.
After our discussion on the PI on underthrown balls I think another good discussion would be rules we hate. I know early in meta takeover I posted about rules stackers wanted changed but hasn't been discussed in awhile.

There are so many rules that bother me. That could be fuel for many segments.

Agreed. Good topic. Could be a recurring segment when as things come up in games and dumb rules end up impacting the result.
