I'm a big fan of One Piece and I think it's a great choice to be represented in Kabuki theater. In the Dressrosa arc we have the introduction of a character called Kanjuro, who is clearly a reference to Kabuki theater. Later, Oda tells us the story of this beautiful actor Kanjuro in the Wano arc.

Overall I liked it, but I think in a broader sense. This is a great opportunity for many people to discover this wonderful world that Eiichiro Oda created. I believe that the series fulfilled its role, and led many people to follow the manga/anime and check out the differences in the plot.
