There is a place on Stacker News They call the Rising Sun And it's been the ruin of many a poor boy And God, I know I'm one

Sometimes one good outcome is all you need. Not the best week for me betting wise. Lost more times than I won but I had one really good outcome that ended up making my week for me.

Started slow on Monday as I missed my parlay on MNF. However, I did hit a spread bet on the Ravens to make some of it back. Ended up down $3 for the day.

On Tuesday I hit a small parlay in the Lakers/Suns game but missed the spread on the Lakers. Ended up being up $1 for the day.

My next bets were Thursday for Thanksgiving Football. I hit a parlay in the Lions/Bears game but missed the over. I hit the spread in the Dolphins/Packers game but missed my parlay. Down $3 for the day.

On Friday I hit my parlay in the Raiders/Chiefs game. Missed a parlay in the Knicks/Hornets game but hit my big win of the week with a profit boost four player parlay in the Raptors/Heat game. I also hit a small bet on the Magic on the money line. Finished up the day up $14

It was looking like it would be a really solid week but I had a bad weekend betting losing my CFB parlay on Saturday, which put me down $2 for the day and then missing my parlay in the 49ers/Bills game, which put me down $5 for Sunday.

Even though I lost a lot of bets this week and gave much of my pre-weekend profit back, I did end up with a small profit of $2 for the week.

When the NFL Season is over I will sweep any profits I have made into Bitcoin.

Current Profit: $124 (As per request- Initial Investment sats value= 64k sats, current sats value= 127k sats)

Superb! $2 profit is still higher than mine.

For the first time I bet according to RBOA and I think (not sure) I've lost a 200 sats.

I really like the poetical lines in the beginning. I read them and read them again. Amazing poetry!

As I said I'm not sure because I betted on a lot of games on freebitcoin where I had 8700 but now I have 8500 and maybe a few bets are still unfinished.

I'm actually happy that 8500 have returned. I almost betted all my sats on all the categories there.(I'm a noob in betting)

Speaking of RBOA. My ridiculous strategy of betting on everyone in the F1 race besides Norris, who was the heavy favourite, seemed to work well. I bet around 2200 sats total and I won 6k sats.

To be fair. That was an odds arbitrage in a way. It was kind of ridiculous that Norris had 45% of the bets to win. Some whale must have really been a Norris fan.

I've intended to write something about the different bitcoin betting options out there and some of the different ways to use them properly.

Another way to use freebitcoin to generate positive expected returns is to wait until right before the event starts and put your money on whichever outcomes have the most favorably unbalanced odds. Then you can take the other side(s) at a traditional fixed odds sports book.

I did pretty well on Ember yesterday. I had about 1500 sats in bets on various games and ended up with 1900.

My NBA losses were pretty brutal (emotionally not financially). Cavs and Celtics was just a free throw contest for about 15 minutes, with Miami and the Raptors coming right down to the wire, followed by OKC and Houston also coming down to free throws.

It kind of reminds of losing all my Nitro money, because in hindsight I still think I made the right picks.

As I said I'm not sure because I betted all my sats (approax 8700k) from freebitcoin and I think there may be more to come. So still not asking for refund but if they remain 8500, I'll ask.

I just tallied up two more posts worth of completed wagers and I was up 4k on about 50k of bets.

All four RBOA posts that have had all of the events conclude are in the black.
