Great episode! It's fantastic to listen to @realBitcoinDog plus our usual hosts, @grayruby and @Undisciplined. Love the gambling speech, @realBitcoinDog. I agree that how we interact with each other in SN makes a difference.
Just to come to the defence of the integrity of the league @realBitcoinDog (yeah any "normal" league would never have had a team like that). How UD got all those players was that it was an auction draft. And he spent big. Also it is 6man (I really wanted 10 but we got what we got). Hopefully we get more stackers playing next year.

Mahomes and Allen cost me a total of $14. You all spent more on just your QB1's.
I did shell out for Chase, though.
Oh yeah. You played a really good auction now I remember. Whilst the rest of us were bidding up RBs. Once the budgets got depleted you were in prime position to get some great assets for filthy cheap.
You’re getting warmer, but Allen and Mahomes were my first two picks.
My memory is god awful 🤣🤣. I just can't have Mahomes in any of my teams so I'd have likely ignored him when he was nominated. It doesn't make sense, it's not logical, but I don't draft players I don't like.
That makes sense. I got both of them before everyone was ready. You must not have bid much for Allen and then nothing on Mahomes.
I will try to participate too, though I am still not familiar to the players to be honest!
Trust me, I'm a Brit, I never knew anything about American football. I just thought they were fake (and soft) rugby imitators. (They're not).
I got into American football because of fantasy. Having skin in the game and rooting for your players really (in my opinion) helps you get involved and begin to understand the game in a really fun and interactive way.
I mentioned when I set the league up I am more than happy to help new players, coach them a little, point them towards resources that they might find helpful. It's a game at the end of the day and it's meant to be fun. I hope to emulate that for people in my leagues.

Yessir!!! Lets go! I'll be looking to draft (auction again I think, easier than trying to do an international draft decider, and auction is really fun and strategic) sometime around august/September. There'll be a call to fantasy arms post here. We're on sleeper at the moment but I'm considering moving over to ESPN, I find ESPNs UI a little cleaner to work with.
I do yahoo fantasy. I recommend it!
I've never used yahoo as a platform. What sort of functionality do you get out of it? Dynasty support like taxi and draft pick trades?
I tend to use sleeper for dynasty as it has good taxi support and draft pick trading but it's UI is so unnecessarily gimmicky.
ESPN is pretty decent and of the two is my favourite. But has zero taxi support and makes dynasty a little bit of a pain, but for redraft it's always been decent.

Nah don't worry I didn't take insult, in a regular 10 team snake draft UDs line up is insane. But in auction draft, that's very achievable and even more so in a 6man... but next year expansion! I'm already hype for next year and I'm riding the incoming playoff hype, it's like double hype.

Well. Now I'm not just intrigued I'm full blown interested! I do enjoy spending my morning or evening drive with GR and UD they do a great job bouncing off each other.
Has anyone else running into issues with logging into the Fountain app on Android? I made a playlist and boosted someone last evening, and about a hour later I got back on to check something and I'm unable to log back in. The login codes come to my email, but the app says they're incorrect. The web version still works though.
Yes sorry we had an issue that cropped up yesterday which was logging some users out (I experienced it too)

Oscar is really great at addressing issues.
90%+ of our pod listens come from fountain and we are super proud of that.
That's good to hear! I've been a happy AntennaPod user for a few years now, but I'm gradually switching some of my V4V enabled podcasts over to Fountain. There are still a few QOL things I like with AntennaPod though, so I'm still using both!

I am using on ios so not sure. I am having an issue sometimes with the nostr feed not loading and I don't see promoted episodes anymore.

I don't really follow college football that well, obviously I don't have any ties to specific colleges. But I do find the structure really confusing. Like Miami missing the playoffs despite having a phenomenal record. I really don't get college ball. But when I can I just enjoy watching football. Last year's Texas Vs Washington game was amazing.
