Guess tomorrow's US CPI inflation print, the user with the closest guess gets 1,000 sats.
The rules are simple:
  • one comment per user
  • comments must be in before 8:20am ET on Oct 13
The relevant number is the unadjusted US CPI over the 12-month period ended Sept 2022.
Tiebreaker: If multiple users make the same overall CPI guess, the energy CPI print will be a tiebreaker.
Last month's data showed a 8.3% overall CPI print, and a 23.8% Energy CPI print.

I think energy is down overall but today PPI was over expectations, and today PepsiCo showed that they were pretty good at giving the higher prices to consumers, so I'll put CPI sliiightly over expectations.

32.5 is a lot for energy. Is there a specific reason why so high? Or just trying to catch the highest in case expectations are a big miss?
