NCAA Football Playoff Points Challenge
I decided to run a Points challenge similar to the one we did in the MLB playoffs for this year's NCAA Football playoffs.
Buy in: 1000 sats
Prize pool: Total buy ins collected (minus fees) plus all sats zapped to related contest posts (minus fees).
There will be four rounds. First round, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, Championship game. Each round will be assigned a point value for predicting game winners and bonus points for predicting total points scored in games (+/- 7). Bonus points are only attainable in a given game if the game winner pick was correct. The point system will be as follows.
First Round: 2 points for correctly predicting a game winner. 1 bonus point for correctly predicting the total points scored in the game (+/- 7). You are only eligible for the bonus point if you first had the correct winning team. Total points available: 12
Quarterfinals: 2 points for correctly predicting a game winner. 1 bonus point for correctly predicting the total points scored in the game (+/- 7). You are only eligible for the bonus point if you first had the correct winning team. Total points available: 12
Semifinals: 4 points for correctly predicting a game winner. 2 bonus points for correctly predicting the total points scored in the game (+/- 7). You are only eligible for the bonus points if you first had the correct winning team. Total points available: 12
Finals: 8 points for correctly predicting the game winner. 4 bonus points for correctly predicting the total points scored in the game (+/- 3). You are only eligible for the bonus points if you first had the correct winning team. Total points available: 12
Buy ins will remain open until Friday Dec 20th at 12pm est. I will post the First Round pick submission post on Thursday. Pick submissions for each round must be in no later than 1 hour prior to the first game of the round starting. After each round I will provide an update on the results of the round and current standings.

Not for this one. I think it is best to start that with the NFL playoffs and do a year long competition. I think we can discuss the details later in the month.

So far we only have team international unless you want to count supercyclone and myself as part of team USA. Supercyclone should be able to choose which team he wants to be on since he has both US and Canadian citizenship.
