Nah. Changing units is scammy. Sats is sats. People understand cents even that’s been a useless unit for consumer pricing in the west for years.
This isn’t some fork of bcash where we change the units.

I haven't seen the BIP framed as using BTC for bitcoin like now and just ₿ as the symbol for satoshi yet. I couldn't actually get behind that.
edit: Oh, I thought you were talking about the BIP from @BitcoinErrorLog which is about renaming satoshis to bitcoin. What do you think about that one? I think that one is highly controversial.

I'm pro BIP 176 and i don't think a lot of people agree. Sats/Satoshis are mega confusing for noobies and i find it tiresome. I like this : 2.2 BTC and ₿ 89,000
