Hey @rizful_com I have some improvement proposals for your Rizful nodes... I know you want them just as playground / disposable nodes, but maybe in the future the users will want something like extended paid services, something like SaaS nodes.
Here what I would add to Rizful nodes:
  • a LN proxy tool like https://lnproxy.org/. Users could use Rizful node as a proxy for their home or mobile nodes.
  • add LNbits instance as additional app linked to the same Rizful node. In one pack. Will be a perfect combination for "1 click install" solution. Many will look into it. Here is how LNbits support NWC that can be used for this scenario: https://docs.lnbits.org/guide/wallets.html#nostr-wallet-connect-nwc You should add in your docs a simple guide how to connect rizful with lnbits with NWC, like you did with SN
  • also you said that are modified LND nodes. you could add support for BOLT12 too, for those looking to use this option, until LND will fully implement BOLT12. Some folks that are using Ocean pool will be interested into Rizful nodes for this feature.
Also please add a notification (by email or nostr) for those nodes that will go "dormant" or offline so users will be alerted.
sorry I didn't make a full post, just wanted to discuss this here first...

Yes, thanks, regarding "Also please add a notification (by email or nostr) for those nodes that will go "dormant" or offline so users will be alerted." -- this is already done. You should get an email when and if your node sleeps.

I was reading Nuclear War: A Scenario and had to stop and check some crazy shit that's in the book. What the author mentioned it was truly scary and...correct. And now, I don't want to go back and read, I'm sitting here with my terere and thinking about a nuclear bomb that's going to explode and kill thousands of people in a second1 with no knowledge of we going to die.
I want to tell you more but count as spoiler for the book that's hihgly recommended.

Footnotes

  1. Literally, the shit is real. It's has been estimated that almost 450.000 people will die in 3 seconds. ↩

DarthCoin's random thoughts

A man with no friends or a very small circle is a very very secure man. He's learned that quality matters more than quantity. He doesn't need a crowd to validate his worth. His confidence comes from within not from the approval of others. He's not afraid to stand alone because he knows his own strength. He's selective with his energy and who he lets into his life. He's seen the fake friendships, the drama and the gossip and he's walked away from all of it. He's built a life that's peaceful and drama free and he's happier for it. He doesn't need to be surrounded by people to feel complete; he's comfortable in his own company. He knows that true friends are rare and he'd rather have few real ones than a bunch of fake ones. His small circle is made up of people he can truly trust, people who have proven their loyalty. He doesn't waste time on meaningless relationships, his time is precious and he spends it wisely. He's a man who knows what he wants and he won't settle for anything less.

So if you meet a man with no friends or a very small circle don't underestimate him. He's secure, confident and knows his worth; he's a man who doesn't need validation from others because he's already validated himself.

On the 20th I wrote about the winter solstice and occult sacrificial rites.
Here it is #817614
The recent Germany attack I believe is a ritual attack for the very purpose of dark occult activities.
This is similar to the Crokus City Hall event in Spring in Russia.
All these activities are terrorists but not Islamic. They are Satanic.
It might not be important to note this. The participants may think that they were doing these activities for a different purpose than I'm speculating. The key are places and dates. These are done around occult or pagan festive times. Participants may be trying to redeem their own fall within the dark occult.
Who knows. This is just early morning saloon talk. Pass me one of those pickled pablano peppers.

As a rule of thumb, we are supposed to have six times our income by the time we reach 50. Today, I took time out to calculate my net worth. I’m in my 40s but somehow have acquired about six times my income. I feel relieved, like a responsible husband and father.

impressive but... maybe your income is too low?
