Researchers are making significant strides in stem cell research, with over 100 clinical trials exploring the potential of stem cells to replace or supplement tissues in debilitating or life-threatening diseases. These trials include treatments for cancer, diabetes, Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, heart failure, and some eye diseases. The goal is to use stem cells to repair damaged tissue, and early results have shown promise, with some participants experiencing significant improvements in their conditions.

Pharma companies don't want to lose their "lifelong subscription disease management" gig with cascading side-effects to also manage until your place gets taken by another unfortunate costumer.
Hence whatever new thing they can come up with, it won't be a "cure", it'll be a management, or it'll be memory-holed/declared unsafe/etc

🫂 When I first got to know about it I was really amazed and lot's of hope emerged for the future.
I have a lot of hope from stem cell research. I believe if it gets more focus, most of the cures could be found and could also regrow damaged organs too.
Now that's some great work! Very few minds focus on this. Maybe I could recommend some websites that some startups have suggested.
