Merry Christmas Stackers
Christmas on this side of the planet is hot, nothing like what the advertisements sell.
I have the advantage of living 15 minutes from the beach, so it is a good option to spend this day.
This photo here is a Venezuelan vendor, he was selling a typical food from the coast of Venezuela, that thing there is called "rompe colchon" "levanta muerto"
Since I emigrated, I have to improvise ideas to celebrate this day. In Venezuela, it is customary to have a family dinner eating hallacas, ham bread, chicken salad and black roast. We exchange gifts and the children play with fireworks. But my family is far away, it is just my husband, my daughter and I. Every Christmas we try to do something different. This year it was going to the beach and having pizza for dinner. This Christmas I didn't even want to listen to the typical Venezuelan Christmas music, although I did want to eat hallacas and ham bread.
