We spent Christmas Eve at my cousin's house. My cousins were like siblings, which I'm thankful for now that I'm the only one left of my nuclear family. Good food and drink, and reminiscing about our childhoods. Those memories go back a half a century now.
Today we'll have a quiet dinner with my mother in law and brother in law.
