man, the 'deflation has been just as devastating' argument is one of my main triggers. it's usually used by pseudo intellectuals and almost always involves referencing Japan's lost decade.
i think it triggers me so much because it's like financial Stokholm syndrome.
literally, nobody is happy when they go buy some meat in the shops and it's increased 10% in price, nobody is happy to see their property tax go up etc
People are also happy when tech gets cheaper , with more specs for the same money.
Well, it's too bad i can't afford steal anymore, still, good thing we're not like Japan in the 80s !
