We've been watching it too: #782343
It's probably my favorite series that's airing right now.
Taylor Sheridan has really been tapping into something recently. I've taken to thinking of it as Americana fiction. No one was really doing that before - making the "other half" of Americans heroes.
His background is pretty interesting too. He came to writing as a failed actor. He hasn't acted in Landman yet, but he plays the prize horse trainer in Yellowstone. (So sad the last half of the last season of Yellowstone blew up over Costner's conflicts making Horizon).
Didn't see this post.
Taylor Sheridan is on fire right now. I believe he also did Tulsa King which is a fun spin on a mafia guy coming to Oklahoma. Sylvester Stallone is in that one.
I do think he is tapping into something showcasing parts of the country and characters Hollywood wouldn't typically portray.
