Digging deeper into bitcoin comes with a lot of troubleshooting. Sometimes we spend hours or days on an issue. Honestly this is a great way to learn, however we don't always have the time.

This territory is for bitcoiners that need help with a wallet, their node or with lightning etc. Try to be specific and describe the situation as best as you can including all relevant details.

To get the best results include a small bounty as an appreciation for the best advice or resolution. Think of the bounty as a payment for saving you a lot of time. The bigger the bounty, the more attention and hopefully the best OG advice.

Happy solving!

Congratulations! Please don't take me as pessimistic but we already have ~Bitcoin, ~Bitcoin_beginners, ~bitdevs, ~lightning, ~security, ~privacy, ~bitcoin_mining, all there to compete with ~bitcoin_support. How do you think 800 sats in fees is a good to start with a new territory?

I agree. Too many territories about the same topic.

reply

It's specific to troubleshooting and strongly advised to add a bounty to get a good resolution.

Anyway, I guess we'll if bitcoiners are going to use it soon enough.

reply

80, not 800 :)

reply

Scratch that 800 (I looked at it right after paying for a post). Even then, we already have a lot of territories for the same.

I think that bitcoin support is more specific for solving a problem you're having.

The telegram groups are pretty bad with a lot of scammers and long wait times to get a response. Offering a bounty to the best reply has potential to get the signal rising to the top.

reply

The claim about telegram groups does make sense, so all the very best. The name is amazing, I'm sure you gonna advertise it outside of SN and get some new Stackers from there.

Great idea. This is what I come here looking for the most probably. It is a good mix of linux, open-source software, and our golden child, Bitcoin.

reply

I'm sure I'll be using this territory sooner than later.

Opening a new territory is a lot of work and quite a (financial) responsibility!

Good luck, sir!

Sounds like a wonderful territory!

reply

I think that starting the year with a new territory is great... Because it is a place where we can help each other and promote our circular economy... Hopefully, more original territories will be consolidated in the future...

"We finally have a direct line to Bitcoin technical support" 😂 Excellent idea 💡 Usually the doubts are always scattered in other territories, this is an excellent way to gather all the good doubts and the good debates that lead to the resolution of the same. Good luck and keep Riding West 💪🤠🐎🍊⚡

reply

Interesting concept. Will be interested to see how this takes off.

reply

Great. Best of luck with the new territory.

why not do this in ~bitcoin?

reply

You could.

I see ~bitcoin as more general, but you can post wherever you think is best.
