@south_korea_ln have your heard anything about what is going on/could comment on this? It seems like it's the US equivalent of the Secret Service protecting him and they won't stand down?
I think a friend is currently protesting there, but radio silence for now.

Jeez.... I dont know to me this seems kinda wild I mean who is in charge of the troops? Can't some General order them to stand down? Plus I am just saying what if this was a distraction so he could go lock himself away in that bunker I mean whats the next move then!?

He's a former top prosecutor. He likely knows quite well how the law works and will do anything he can to make it harder on his opponents. At the same time, we still don't know what got into him when declaring martial law, so maybe a case of "don't find malice where stupidity can explain things".
He's got the support from some generals, at least, as supposedly, its their advice that pushed him to declare martial law in the first place.

Not really.
The majority of people just feel ashamed. Most people agree he's a clown.
He still has loyal supporters, but they are in the minority. And mostly, old.
