not sure is about apple, is about the permissions you grant to the apps you install
Can you explain further? I don't have an iPhone, but I think in this case Siri was turned off. Can it be removed from the OS?

You mention Google, well check all your google apps and the permissions they have to access camera, mic, etc... in your phone settings, it happens on android too.

No doubt. I use a graphene OS pixel without any Google apps, and I'm not confident I'm safe either.
