Everyone dying in the same way sounds cool at first, but will limit your storytelling range. Maybe the method of dying changes every day? And someone must be sacrificed at the start of the day to determine what that is, so that everyone else can guard against it. LOL, if you end up publishing this, make a note of thanks for my idea.
