Personally I believe that sexual energy can be transmuted into other types of creative energies, even though it is definitely not easy. A bunch of old spirituality/religious stuff is predicated on that whole notion, perhaps most famously the Tantric texts & teachings. I've also read a little bit of the book "Muscle/Tendon Changing and Marrow/Brain Washing Chi Kung: The Secret of Youth" by Dr. Yang Jwing-Ming which goes into that subject very deeply as well.
