According to a friend of mine, he found it so addictive that it was scary, and he ended up deleting it from his phone because of that. I don't know what their secret sauce is, but that's some scary personal testimony.

Yeah studies with social media have been bad with brain chemistry but TikTok’s algorithm takes the cake for sure. That's why China doesn't wanna part with it but if it gets banned in the US it becomes useless and shows other Western countries they can do it

People need that instant dopamine hit! I will say they got me back when they bought Muiscaly which was a US company that Bytedance bought and rebranded 🙃

Don't put it on your work phone. Isn't it banned from gov issued phones?

Yeah it is banned lol I always tell our Comms team and our IT guy imma download it on their phones if they aren't nice to me 😂
