pull down to refresh

The first 2 days of January are usually for resting and recovering from the holidays, but in my case it was the complete opposite hahaha.
At my father-in-law's house it is tradition to make a soup on January 1st to help recover from the holidays the day before. My father-in-law lives in another city about 45 minutes away from my city, so I woke up early, had breakfast and went to my father-in-law's house with my girlfriend and brother-in-law.
They were up very early cooking the soup and when we arrived it was ready to serve, I took a couple of photos of the whole process, the soup was boiling:
Nothing better to accompany a January 1st soup than some beers and a good meat:
In Venezuela we know this soup as "Boiled" and it is too delicious, there is no Venezuelan who does not love boiled soup.
My father-in-law took advantage of the charcoal to put some sausages and meat on the grill:
Needless to say, we all ate until we couldnt no more, we were all super full and we sat on the street in the shade talking for hours and catching up on the stories that had happened to us this season.
The mood of this little dog defines us hahaha
The hours passed and we went home before it got dark, on the way I took these two photos, the first one is of a bus that I found interesting because of how big it was
I took the next photo because I thought the landscape looked very pretty
The next day was my best friend's birthday and he invited us to his celebration at a house with a pool, when I arrived I found a beautiful macaw and I was surprised that it was gigantic!!
When my friends saw that I took out the camera, they immediately started asking me to take pictures of them hahaha
It was two hectic but very happy days surrounded by close people who recharged us with energy and love.
Today, January 3rd, it's time to clean the house, organize everything and start the year off on the right foot!
Looks like a lot of fun!!!
