Just noticing, @DarthCoin, you don’t seem to be showing the obligatory horse and revolver icons. Most of the OG SN stackers seem to display them proudly. What’s up?
the horse and pistol is only for those with attached wallet. I can't say more about, is a secret.
I am using ONLY CCs. So will never have that horse and pistol. I don't care. Is just a game. Horses and pistols are toys for kids to keep them busy.... and give them an impression of "earning something"...

OK, I was wondering about that. I have yet to have gained the understanding of the LN nodes and etc. to set anything up. I am an idiot, especially when accuracy in setups is concerned. I always make some sort of mistake or another, but figure it out after hours of working on it. For instance, when I initially set up virtual boxes, I never seem to get the USB linking set up to work, I have to go back and fiddle with the setups to operate the flash drives. I really hate that part of doing things.

No, you are not an idiot. Lack of knowledge is not idiocy. Maybe you are good / have more knowledge in something else.
In regards of understanding how LN nodes works, just read all my guides. Seriously now, I am not trying to sell you anything, but I wrote those guides exactly for people that start from zero, but they still have brains. Inside them I put all my knowledge and also added more links to more documentation, where my knowledge was limited. So the reader can go and study more if they want or need more info.
If somebody have more questions in regards of those guides, my DMs are always open or just ask me here on SN.
But seriously now, after you will read those guides, your bitcoiner life will be much easier.

Thanks for the info. I guess I will just have to buckle down and read the guides. I take it they are all in the same place as you mentioned before, right?

OK, I was just reading about the water analogy and the other post about liquidity. I may need to start elsewhere to get a good grounding.
