Beyond raising tariffs, I have no idea.

I think that Canada, France, and Germany will be given more time due to their government elections and Trump will leverage it to promote the party of his choice winning. Mexico has also started breaking up caravans heading towards the border so they might get out of theirs as well if they continue to crack down and if they allow the remain-in-Mexico policy.
China is likely going to be the first one with expanded tariffs.

Canada will become just another state of the USA! Ahahah

That's not fair. It would be an exceptional state.
reply
Who's it unfair to? It could be like an autonomous state! Haha.

Saying it would be "just another state" is unfair to Canada. It would be the largest state by area and second largest by population. Most importantly, it would knock Texas down to third on both measures.

I was joking around! That's absurd! You didn't even consider Canada's vast resources! @grayruby and @kr for example! Ahahah 😂

We’d become your best state immediately. How is this fair?

Do you figure tariffs will be implemented at the currently anticipated rates?
I think it was 25% for Mexico/Canada and 35% for China across all goods?

No idea. He's just such a wildcard on all this stuff.
It wouldn't be a bad idea for your next president (or king or whatever it is Canada uses) to tweet out a picture of him/herself chowing down on a Trump steak, though.

I doubt it'll be anywhere near that high for sustained amounts of time.
