Being a territory is a better deal than being a state anyway. I suggest Canada negotiate for that. No voting and no taxes.

Peurto Ricans don't pay federal income tax on income derived from within Peurto Rico.
Man look at all those qualifiers.

Oh dang. I didn't realize they paid Social Security taxes. I don't even know what "self-employment taxes" are.
The comparison to Vermont is strange, since Vermont is much smaller.
