I hate to sound like a dick, but all the sats you get on SN are based on donations from SN or other users, so a lot of the complaing comes off as "I'm not getting free things the way I want to get them"
CC's shouldn't be causing this much backlash.

Correct. People think they're working here and they should be paid. But in fact, all the zaps are donations to you.
Ask me; for all the donation I get in Sats, there's a straight tax of 30% in my country, I've been escaping them every year though.

nah, they're redistributional paybacks for the 30% take off the donations I was given when someone zapped me for content.
