Calling all stackers!
Leave a comment below to let the SN community know what you're working on this week. It doesn't matter how big or small your project is, or how much progress you've made.
Just share what you're up to, and let the community know if you want any feedback or help.
Mostly admin. I've also mostly been mentally recovering from the year-in-the-making release and responding to the fallout of it.
Back to more productive work today though:
Too much with too little time. Currently I'm close to attaching a private LN node to SN I just need to make sure I can keep liquidity in the channel before I move forward, so I'm doing some studying on that.
I also decided that on going to go from windows to Linux, so I'm currently looking into that, but I fit a lot of great feedback from SN.
Unfortunately, trucking is a busy job, im putting in usually 55+ hours a week so I dont have as much time for side projects as I would like.
I talked to a trucker one day. I asked him about the loneliness of the job. He said he wouldn't trade the satisfaction he gets from the job for anything else in the world. He said most truckers love their job. He said he knows many many other truckers and they will meet up at random gas stations nearby highways, chat up before sleeping overnight and hitting the road again. That was in Europe. Same for you?
EDIT: we should start an ~AMA series on fascinating but random day-to-day jobs~~
I used to be over the road and live in the truck. It was actually incredibly lonely for me. Now I work in LTL (Less than full load). I do probably 20 stops a day locally. I work 10 to 12 hous a day but I get to go home to my wife every night.
I would do an AMA, but I'm not sure how interesting being a trucker is, I was however, the 2006 time magazine person of the year, so maybe that would be worth doing an AMA about.
Liar. It was not I, it was You.
I thought I knew you from somewhere! đ
Finishing a draft for a paper. Trying to convince my co-authors to go for a big journal with this one. Draft has to be perfect for that to happen.

-Just started exploring Canvas inside of Obsidian. I'll hopefully be using it to create an e-book of everything I wrote last year.
-I'll be connecting my own private node to SN very soon. In the midst of figuring out the tiny details (hopefully with the help of some great guides already posted on SN)
-Working on two interviews with musicians from Latin America that will be published sometime in the first quarter of this year.
-Working on a couple of audio post-production projects that crossed my desk or were pending.
I look forward to reading your e-book!
You're unknowlingly challenging me.
Most of what I wrote last year was shared under my birth name, and I was going to share the e-book in the same way. Lately though, I had been thinking maybe I can do both. I'm almost sure the writings can be edited to preserve my privacy and still be shared with the community on here. It'll be an interesting project to undertake.
Sweet!

Getting in better shape and losing 10 pounds in 90 days. Down 3 lbs already. 7 more to go.
Adjusting my diet reducing consumption and trying to eliminate as much carbs and sugars as possible. Increasing my protein largely through more meat consumption. More natural whole foods less processed foods.
Increasing my activity and getting back into using bands for back muscle strength.
I finally set up a Ride The Lightning service on my lightning node. I was raw dogging it from the command line for the last 4 months. Great learning experience! But not very user friendly.
I'd rather see @k00b start dressing and acting like Elon and turn Stacker News Live into "what did you get done this week?"
I'm working on my photography publication, NOICE Magazine. Im wanting to rebuild the website that utilizes the Nostr protocol and also lightning, but it's quite out of my skillset. Ive been contacting some developers out here to see if I can get some help. I have one person that is helping me now, but if anyone here has any experience in web design, development, lighting and nostr, please reach out to me.
Happy to share more details with you in what I am looking to incorporate into the new website.
