@HardMoney had a good point as well that Trey McBride was also better than Bowers. I think an argument could be made.
We must not be using the phrase "good point" in the same way.

Well you seem to think receptions is the most important stat and McBride had more receptions per game than Bowers so an argument could be made. If you want to admit TDs and Yards per catch are more important then I guess Kittle runs away with it like I suggested.

That's a lot of mental gymnastics to deprive the guy with the most catches, yards, and yards after the catch of the award he obviously earned.
And, let's not forget the circumstances. He did this in an offense that was so bad the OC was the first coach fired this year and the best of three QB's was Aidan O'Connel.
He did more than either Kittle or McBride with substantially less help than either.

It's not nice to lie to yourself. It's unhealthy. The truth will set you free. There is nothing wrong with being great but not the best.

You should read that into a mirror. It might help you come to terms with reality.

Most efficient pass catcher in the entire NFL. Bowers 37th.
Would you like me to send you videos of him pancaking some of the D ends in the NFL as well?
It’s not even close.

Yeah, Kittle was still the best TE in the league this year, but he wasn't two full games better. If he were, he'd have lead all TE's in yards, receptions, and yards after the catch.
You know what probably happened is that the voters were looking at the league leaders in receiving categories and they picked the TE who was highest on them.
reply
No they needed to give Brock something because he deserved rookie of year so they stole it from Kittle like thieves in the night. Haha.
