Thirteen interviews this week! I have full faith that Johnson will manage to find the thirteenth best of them, just not quite sure which one that is.
Tom Telesco would be a smart choice. He does a great job drafting players and doesn't make stupid free agency moves.

I was surprised they let him go but I guess they are starting fresh.
If he doesn’t get a GM job he should come be AGM in SF. I don’t think they really filled that role after Peters left for the Commies after last season.
reply
I will be very surprised if he isn't one of the first GM's hired.
You're right about why he was fired. It had nothing to do with job performance.
reply
Well, let's cross him off the list then.
reply
I am not really following the GM searches that closely. I am interested where coaches and coordinators land though.
Looks like Saleh might be coming back to SF as DC if he doesn’t get one of the HC jobs he interviewed for.
reply
Yeah, Saleh deserves a second chance as an HC, but he's got a DC job for sure -- no one doubts his skills there.
reply
The Jets were much worse without Saleh. Maybe he wasn’t the problem. Haha. I like Ulbrich too. Not as a HC, clearly that didn’t work but as a DC candidate.
reply
Yeah, the problem, alas, is the one guy who can't be fired. Ulbrich really was put in a crappy position, too. Working as an HC and DC at the same time (while also dealing with a just-demoted OC who your QB loves) was not the way to start as a coach.
reply
Your team is a mess sir.
reply
Truth. But they've been my mess for fifty years, so I'm not giving up now.
