Since he was linked to the job before there was even an opening it shouldn’t be surprising to see this. It would be very interesting to see though as he would be guaranteed to coach against at least one son and possibly both of them. I’m not sure he would do that and could see him using this as a way to get more money from Colorado.
Coach Prime in Dallas makes sense. Trade Dak for the number 1 pick and draft Shedeur.

Nothing against Dak. I like him as a person but they haven’t had any playoff success with him.
Hoping your ST coach gets let go.
reply
Dak is a great person. One of my closest friends had a son who was one of his main receivers at State.
reply
I dont see Tennessee taking Dak on at the number he is currently at... Dallas would have to pay down his salary significantly which I do not see them doing. Not sure what kind of package Dallas could offer that others like New York or LA couldnt top
reply
Maybe not but it’s a fun trade to think about.
reply
It would be wild if they did. They could easily nab the other son who plays defense in the mid rounds as well to keep the fam together!

That might make it a be hard for me to continue hating on the Cowboys. Nah. That's never hard.

Lmaooooo I love this meme 😂
I was just listening to something about this. How would you feel about Coach Prime, @TNStacker?
reply
That would be huge! And media and football smart!
reply
Do you think though he will be able to translate to NFL coaching this fast? At least in Colorado he seemed pretty divisive and I am not sure that his hard nose ways would work/mess well with the Cowboys esp. with how they are right now.
They would knock it out of the park with media and advertising but with Jerry Jones being Jerry Jones I feel like he would clash with Sanders.

Successful coaches are successful coaches. Prime has been successful at every level attempted. You can't possibly understand what he did/does for Jackson State (I'm from Mississippi) and HBCUs. He also put the Buffs back on the map after 35 years.
You ride that train until the tracks run out!
reply
I would worry less about him clashing with this ownership, since they already know each other so well. If either thought it was going to be a problem, they likely wouldn't even be considering joining up again.
reply
I was super... sad/displeased almost when he left Jackson State for Colorado because of what he had helped do for HBCUs like you said. Is he still doing stuff for Jackson State? I had the impression he kinda cut and run for the next level so to speak.
reply
He still does quiet work with folks at JSU.
Seems like the right move, then. We (fans and front office) were mostly thinking "Thanks, but no thanks" about Deion's interest.

I heard Raiders are interviewing Saleh. You guys should hire McCarthy so Saleh can come back to the 49ers as DC.
reply
The scuttlebutt is that they're interested in Saleh as Pete Carrol's DC.
reply
Great. I think it is pretty much a lock that he will come back to 49ers if he doesn’t get a HC job.
