Yes. If you consider the size of a consumer video drone and the weight they carry and then think about helicopters and the weight they can carry. The flying car is just something inbetween.

The range of this example would be disappointing. Even with a lot of advancements in power/weight in future fuels or batteries still underwhelming. But it would exist. Therefore yes, I think flying cars will become real.
