It's the %annual return. So for the sake of conversation with my wife i thought that it would be safe to assume that bitcoin would go up by 10 to 30% annually over the next 3p years. Considering it's previous growth I'd say it's a pretty safe bet.

I think its a pretty safe assumption too. I might try this on my wife and see what happens.

Yea, seeing it broken down in actual expected returns is nuts. Even 1000 a year can be significant in 20 years.
