I played hooky today and drove through Kentucky for Bourbon. I went to pick up a special release at Old Forester in Louisville.

Kentucky's "Bourbon Trail" and the "horse park" are on the to-do list.

I gotta do the Trail! I just hit Old Forester, drive by Maker's Mark and stopped at Limestone Branch (a must).
The area around Shelbyville Tennessee reminds me of Kentucky horse country.

I see on of the cars where you are is flipped over in the snow. That is really over the top. :) Where I live we get a lot of snow, but only the nooby drivers or nooby snow drivers have problems. Although, I have to say, there are a lot of noobies the first snow of the season every year.

I live 3.5 hours south in Tennessee and I was surprised by the amount of snow in Kentucky. It was gorgeous! Yea in California, it used to be first rains. In the south it is any snow!

It looks like I should post some of my wife’s pictures of the snow. It is most beautiful just after a snowfall.

Better, yet, have your wife join SN and Nostr and she posts them!

She is not into this kind of stuff. I can get the photos from her, but she does NOT want to hear about stacker news. I keep trying to tell her about it and the response is less than happy. :(

What are your thoughts? Did you sample a few of them? Did you end up going home with more than one bottle after you tried them?
