That a good film I haven’t seen in a long while. Oddly non-political if I recall given the subject matter (but then it probably wouldn’t have got distributed had it been pro-IRA!)
In 1968 Carol Reed directed the musical Oliver!, the cast included Oliver Reed (as Bill Sykes) accompanied by the bull terrier ‘Bullseye’.

I remember as a kid we had a class field trip to Radio City Music Hall to see Oliver! when it came out. That guy had a long career.

I never saw that. Tubi has opened up a whole slew of good stuff to me.

Burt Lancaster and Tony Curtis attempt ‘the triple!’
It’s good to have a source of these old movies. Other streaming services are a bit hit and miss for older films.
Fortunately I have access to an excellent film library nearby where I can pick up hard-to-find films. It’s finding the time that’s difficult!

I haven't watched a Tony Curtis movie since I was a kid. He's totally off the radar. I'll check it out.

He was amazing with Roger Moore in ‘The Persuaders’ on TV - although I really don’t care for his later film stuff. ‘Houdini’ was excellent.
