Personally, I'd be in the same place, just with more usless shit cluttering my house.

You're not the first person with a similar response. Considering how much it's changed my life, I can see how it has given people hope and a reason to look forward to the future.
I'm happy you found it when you did.

Silver will always be a good investment.

I think everyone that has gotten into btc was into silver and gold before.
We have that kind of mindset.

Well I had my own business before. I sold it in early 2022. I don’t think I would have made the leap and completely change my lifestyle from a city dwelling, fiat chasing, workaholic to a small town living, semi retired, stacker news and family time aholic without finding bitcoin.
You can read more about it here.

Facilities maintenance/management. We did a bit of everything relating to commercial properties besides the leasing/contract side of things.

The big difference is that I'd still be heavily focused on the political sideshow and frustrated by not having any real options for making the world better.

Because it's POW with a different cryptographic algorithm (not competing) than BTC's, and I think it nicely complements BTC in my portfolio. Also, because it has MWEB for privacy, which I really like.

Personally, I would still be under the fallacy of fiat money, working like crazy every day without knowing why things are getting more expensive and why money would allow me to buy fewer things as time goes by.
