I get it. Thanks. I remembered I read somewhere it's a mix of Irish wolfhound and pyrenean Mastiff only. But it was just half knowledge. I saw the foundation base that didn't include Great Dane but a now extinct Cordoba fighting dog, a mastiff breed, which looks pretty similar to Dogo Argentino. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/C%C3%B3rdoba_fighting_dog

The genetics that create all these type dogs is nuts. For instance, I remember reading that English Bulldogs and Great Danes are close genetically! The whole world of bulldogs has lots of controversy. For American Bulldogs, there is a mystery as to what breeds contributed.
