Well he is an agent so he is always going to say his clients are underpaid and it looks like he represents the creator of a new 3x3 women's league so there is that conflict of interest as well.
I am sure as the league grows salaries will rise but this issue is always great clickbait for the media.
Yeah, agents will be agents. It just seems like an absurd argument. It's like the EHL bitching because their salaries aren't commensurate to those in the NHL.

Fairness is an interesting concept. it's inherent to us. Cain murdered Abel because of perceived unfairness.
When my kids complain about fairness, I ask them, "Are you sure you want fair?" That usually shuts them up quick.
reply
Yes it is true most people only want fair when it suits them. Many years ago I managed retail stores and some of them were unionized. I used to hear "fair" a lot. My favourite was when they sited the collective agreement to make their point about fairness. I used to respond in kind "we can follow the collective agreement to the letter of the law but you told me you can't work weekends and the agreement says you must work every second weekend, so we can work together to come up with an arrangement that works for both of us or just follow what the agreement says is 'fair'".

I think that's the main point. Just like the head of a labor union or a defense attorney, an agent's job isn't to present the truth. His job is to make the best case for his clients.
If this is that best case, though, then they're in trouble.

All these people look like children next to Wemby. Haha.
Toronto is getting a WNBA team. Toronto Tempo. Haha that's such a bad name.
reply
Giannis Atorontotempo. That was the first thought that jumped into my mind.
reply
Maybe Giannis will sign with the Raptors since they named the women’s team after him.
