Usually I just do 49ers mock drafts but I was bored and thought it would be fun to do a full first round mock draft.

I have 3 QBs going in the first round but Abdul Carter going first overall. The Titans should go QB but I am not sure they will.

Let me know what you think. Would be curious to see some other stackers do their own.

This is not for fantasy football. This is just my mock draft for this years NFL draft coming up in April. We did an SN fantasy football league this season and plan to do it again next season. You are welcome to join (fyi @Public_N_M_E). We didn't have any prize this year as it was the first year we did it but maybe we will put a few sats on the line this coming season.

I think I'll join. I keep thinking about getting back into sports in general because it's a significant part of SN, and it's just fun anyhow.

I think it is a significant part because @Undisciplined and I are so active on SN and it really was the first territory besides the SN native ones (bitcoin, meta, tech). On one of the podcast episodes I compared it to a dive bar. We have a group of regulars and then we get a lot of people popping in and out for contests/events etc. Sports and pools/contests go hand in hand and giving people a chance to win sats is always popular.

I would not be upset if the bills took a CB in the first round. The AFC championship game exposed how thin they are at the position. Elam was embarrassed the 2022 first round pick is working out to be a tremendous bust. Another reason why buffalo lost. We didn’t get much out of our top draft picks the last few drafts. Besides Milano we don’t have a single star/pro bowler on the roster

Barron would be an awesome get in the late first. I don't think he falls that far but I was trying to go by need for each team as best I could.

I haven't been hearing as much about Sheduer going to LV. I think it was the previous regime that was really high on him.

I've been wrong about this a few years in a row, but I'm not expecting Milroe to go early, especially not before Graham.

Eight edge rushers seems high. Is this a super strong EDGE year?

The Bengals better take a goddamn tackle. It's insane how much they rely on Burrow being a tough SOB.

Pretty strong Edge year. They always seem to get bumped up though.

So you think the Raiders aren't taking a QB?

I think Milroe will go early. Look at Penix last year. Everyone had him going late first or early second and then the Falcons picked him at 8. Milroe has a lot of upside. I think some team will be enticed. Jets have a new regime so I am betting they want a young QB but we will see.

I think they will take a QB in the draft, just not in the 1st round. There are enough other areas to build up and Carroll tends to have a more holistic approach to building rosters.

Might see a second round rush for QBs if they don't go in the first or teams trading up to get into the back end of the first to take a QB.

What I am hearing is it is a deep draft but some teams will only have first round grades on 10-20 guys.

I always expect to see teams trade into the back of the 1st for QB's and it seldom happens. It seems like you'd really want that 5th year option, in the event you actually make a good pick.

Buffalo better not trade with KC again to let them get the player they want. They let the Chiefs get Worthy which is exactly the deep threat they needed to give the short passing game the space it needs. Don't do that shit again.

Quite possible but Titans seem to like Levis for some reason. I could definitely see it. I could also see Hunter going first and Carter going second. Although both the Titans and Browns should be drafting QBs.

Deion's going to be so pissed if his son doesn't go top 3.

Can't imagine the Jets taking Milroe that early (I'd rather they fix their other problems and get a band-aid QB this year, or trade up), but honestly, he's got a lot of upside.

New regime. I think they are going to want a young QB to build with but we will see. I am not a huge Milroe fan but I do think he has a lot of upside. I am always surprised by how QBs get bumped up. I probably could have fit Dillon Gabriel into the first as well, maybe with the Saints. I don't think it is a very deep or great QB draft but the top guys seem to go early regardless of their overall rankings.

Just a guess on may part. Who knows what happens.
