Group phase has come to an end. All favorites have qualified for the round of 16 or knockout play-offs. Another issue is how it may end in March. So let's dive into the details.
On fire
Three English sides (Liverpool, Arsenal and Aston Villa) , two Spanish ( Barça and Atletico) and one each from Italy, Germany and France (Inter, Leverkusen and Lille) are the ones to go through to the last 16 round in March. Bayern , Real Madrid and Man City have missed these spots. This is a surprise.
Hot zone
Here, 16 teams which have not completed their homework and will have to fight for a spot in the knockout play-offs to be held in February.
What an incredible play-off has brought us the draw. Real Madrid and Man City will fight for a spot in the last 16 round. So one of them will leave us quite early.
