Definitely my late grandfather. Despite all the mistakes and flaws that are part of human nature, he always sought to be a kind and gentle person, and these virtues influence me in my daily life.
Ooo, I should have thought about my answer a little harder. My grandfather was a great guy too. He dropped out of high-school to take over his family farm.
He was a prime example that education =/= intelligence. He had to be part mechanic, part vet, and also be a small business owner.
Or you could put restrictions on it. Who is the most influential person outside of your family. Or who is the most influential writer and so on. You could have content for days. Haha.
I'm so task oriented right now I don't have much of a single influential person. It's almost like my past self and their plans are the influence. I spend the most time with my wife.
I don't know man. I hate my past self enough that he influences me to make better decisions often. It depends on what motivates you really. Any catalyst for positive change is good regardless of the source probably.
I read your story of how you came to bitcoin, you definitely let yourself be "influenced" by something positive and today you are here. I guess you did the same for your wife and other family members, you "influenced" them.

Don't blame yourself, because the memories about your grandfather remain vivid inside you, and at the end of the day, that's what matters.
Jesus Christ
My wife and kids
My parents
My friends
Beyond that, I'm not sure. Overall, i might have to say CS Lewis or Tim Keller in terms of shaping how I think about things.
That's a pretty solid list!
My 6 year old. She is a boss. She runs shit around here. Much influence over my life.
Every single response I continue to realize that I definitely didn't put as much though into my answer as I could have. 🤔
Just gives you more ammo for another post. You can ask something similar but frame it another way.
Like ask it upside-down next time? Good idea.

Naaaa, I think I had it right. Upside-down is the way.

Past you counts. It's a different person.
They're a lame influence though. Because if they're my influence I can't be getting better.
Maybe it'd be better to say the ideal me that my past/present self imagines in my influence.

Probably my Dad and brother
I'm the most influential person in my life and it never changed for me so far.
Nobody can "influence" me.
If you are influenced, you are a sheep that can't think for yourself.
Let's wait for your wife's reply. 😂
Almost the exact same thing with me and my wife! 🤣

Me. Im so high on my own Bullshit most of the time…
