That is totally high on my list of projects here!
Been pondering on fish from the local markets, some milk and perhaps a bit of more tasty meat pieces, cook up a huge batch & cool down or even freeze most of it...
avoid milk. Even that the legend is that cats like milk is not true and they are a bit non-tolerant to cow milk. Maybe goat milk.
Fish is excellent for them, add some rice and carrots too and mince them almost being some kind of paté. They will love it especially if is fresh fish.
Cook in small batches, they do not like food that stays more than 1 day, because in time it lose the strong smell and taste. So you will end up throwing it away, wasting resources and sats :)
Cats are attracted by strong smell and taste and never give them same food continuously, change it periodically.

Thanks!
Goats milk, if any was the plan, but yeah you are quite likely right!
The problem right now is that they are totally hooked on these bags that contains who knows... I weaned them off that half a year ago, but then we kinda forgot about the problem with that brand...
Might mix in tiny amounts on that with fish, to gradually get them used to real food!

yes indeed, mix old dry food with different brands, that comes with stronger taste.
But even then the fuckers are really smart and eat only the new bits, leaving the old ones away.
My 4 cats love Whiskas (dry and especially wet food). But is getting more expensive now.

Haha, yeah I know that play very well!
Today has been kinda OK, they are not puking any longer and I feed them smaller amounts of another brand... Its a matter of getting the balance right too, during the night they must have killed a bird for food, there were feathers in the living room haha
Especially one of the kittens was really dehydrated in the morning, but now they seem to have recovered

Be aware of the calcivirus. It comes from street vagabond cats and is quite popular.
One of my old cat just got it from them some time ago and almost died.
It started like that with puking and not eating well, then getting skinny and sad, with drool from the mouth.
The vet gave him a dedicated jab and antibiotic and to all others, because is contagious between them. Is quite dangerous this shit.
Now the boy is OK, even going out again but still have to recover a lot of weight lost.

Thanks, will check that out!
There is a literal jungle outside here, compared to the sterile ghettos back in Europistan, with anything from other cats and stray dogs to monitor lizards, a rooster and so on...
They are not this sick however, so for now I will just focus on their food.
