Your friend must be depressed and apoplectic since November 5 and January 20 lol
I won’t gloat. At least not here
You would not believe the degree of anguish. We can't even talk about anything remotely political

This was one of the first posts I read on SN. I remember laughing at the headline, Thinking this will be a fun and humorous read which it was lol
He wants to marry Rachel Maddow!
I have to admit I have lost and gained friends because of covid which is political but also a strange and forgettable time in human history.
I stumbled upon it because I clicked on “related posts”.

Covid really messed up many of my family and friend relationships. I couldn't spend her last two Christmases with my mother, and my wife and I lost family and friends because we were unvaxxed. I hope I manage to forget those times someday.

Losing family and friends over covid/vaccine is more crazy in hindsight because this would never happen over Tetanus or whooping cough.
Hep B vaccine is unnecessary for kids and for most adults. I took it once in 1999 because I was working in Hong Kong.
How many people are going to die on this hill? or any vaccine?

I have two friends who supported covid mandates. Voted for Biden. Their reaction to the pardon of Ross Ulbricht: what a joke, we need to eliminate the presidential pardon. Of course they had zero objections to Biden pardoning his family and friends
Update: I got JJ vaccine because I wanted to attend a concert. My reason was unrelated to health. The only medical decision was the absence of mRNA. JJ was one shot.

My reason for not getting vaccinated wasn't political at all - at first. I got a flu shot 11 years ago which almost killed me. I got myocarditis as a result and was hospitalized for a week. I also have unrelated cardiac issues. My cardiologist, who is considered top of his field for my heart condition, tried to convince me that I still needed the covid shot. He engaged in some revisionist medical diagnosis by saying my past myocarditis had nothing to do with the flu shot, even though I fell ill less than 24 hours after the vaccine, and being told at the time (pre covid) that it was vaccine related.

I know one person (friend of a friend) who didn't get the covid shot because his doctor advised against it: he has a heart condition. His doctor was concerned about myocarditis being a side effect of mRNA/spike protein
I apologize for sharing information you already know, I know you do your own research
