@k00b has been kind enough to seed the (obviously) losing side with 25k, so my bets are just free milking off his sats. I don't mind; I'm a sucker for free sats.
Also, @Shugard complained that I hadn't posted my chart yet so today I carved out a minute for it... and holy smokes what is happening to SN?!
I titled a previous check-up "We can feel it in our bones!" (#871820) because, you know... we can all sort of sense it. There are fewer interesting posts—yes, yes, @Undisciplined... my fault, gotta post more ~econ!—and less zaps and a (much) smaller rewards pool.
Just anecdotally, then, we would expect a slowdown in item production, eh?

To hit the 1.4m items by end of this year, we need about 1,550 items a day. For the first 77 days I was hanging out (#877087) the rate was 1,392, so goal definitely within reach. Every time I've done a check-up the rate has been lower, and lower... and lower.
Since the last check-up (18 days ago), we're averaging 925 items a day. That's a horrible rate!
We're about 13.2% through the year, but have made less than 10% of the items journey to the 1.4m goal. But that's not the worst of it: The shortfall compared to where we need to be for the bet is roughly 25%—which is radically higher than where we were last month (17%). So, we're falling doubly behind. Uh-uuuh.
(ignore that my stupid line isn't a straight, 45-degree line... I've made inconsistent updates—1-2-3 times a month—so that's what we have to live with! All that matters is the growing delta between the two lines!)

I guess I'm an outlier. I have been finding more stuff of interest here than I usually do. Less quantity, but more quality. I'm busy and freezing my ass off this winter, so I don't feel like posting much, but I do enjoy the content.
SN has definitely been quite slow lately. Even the power users (myself included) seem to be using it a bit less. I am not sure what it going on. Maybe we all secretly loved the spam and assmilking for our dopamine hits. Haha

Another mistake you are doing: CCs are not shitcoins, nor "coins". Are simply "testnet credits" useful only inside SN for posting.
You see? You are giving me CCs, I do not have to spend my sats for posting on SN... meanwhile you are gambling (losing) your sats on useless bets.
