You should be able to enter your existing nsec into nsec.app and then create a connection in the app (a link that starts with bunker://). When you paste this link into the text input on the SN nostr login page, the app should prompt you to confirm the login.

Thanks. When I try to create the connection on nsec.app, it asks me for a nostrconnect:// connection string that I assume should be provided by stacker news or come from stacker news, at least. I don't see anything about that in the Login with Nostr section, however, only the bunker:// or NIP-05 mentions.

If you click on 'advanced options' on that screen, it should give you a bunker:// url:

I see that and I am able to paste it into SN on mobile browser but it just gets stuck at Waiting for authorization and I see nothing on desktop browser where I hit Connect after signing up on nsec.app. Not sure what I am missing...

Mhhh, when you see Waiting for authorization, it should have prompted you in nsec.app.

Create new app connection in remote signer (nsec.app) and copy bunker url
Paste bunker url into SN
Confirm login in remote signer

Is this what you tried but the confirmation prompt didn't appear in the remote signer?

Will test myself to make sure this still works.

Yeah, that's what I did on Firefox and Chrome but never got the confirm login on nsec.app unfortunately. I did find a way around: found a way to install nos2x-firefox on Firefox Android and logged in that way, using my nsec and nos2x-firefox. Thanks for getting back to me regardless!
