sincerely, I never consider to "own" a pet (cat or dog or whatever).
I simply consider them part of my family, my companions, even with same rights as any other member (ofc in cats situation, they are the "king of the house").

Me too, you can be sure of that! At the moment I have 6 cats and 1 dog, and they are a fundamental part of my family.

Therefore, no one owns a cat, quite the opposite: cats choose their “owners”
