I am gaining more muscle mass with my bike trainings, and am getting a freat feling aroung my back as biking on hills use the muscles of abdomen and lower back a lot. I also have my office in a tall building and I go up and down 12 floors everyday, that's also a great exercise.
More muscle mass into the thighs, right? Or it helps gain other parts as well?

It helps also in my upper body, as long as I don't bike too long distances. The thing is I was very very skinny before when I was only biking on flat terrain in the place I was living. Then it makes me think if skinny people have the body for mountains as we need much more uphills stimulus than other body types.

I get it. When you're hiking, it's your whole body that is required to push you up and as a result we gain strength everywhere.
Thanks.
