I believe in a simple theory that "New and better tech will always replace the old one."
If all these companies can't be innovatively competent, they'll die.
In the long run, sure. However, the dotcom bust wasn't because the internet wasn't revolutionary technology. It happened because the internet wasn't as revolutionary as promised as soon as promised.
However, the dotcom bust wasn't....
I agree. I want to add It happened because the companies couldn't keep pace with the revolutionary internet.
This time it seems that these companies aren't able to keep pace with AI in short run and quantum mechanics for the long run.
I see a new group will rise to the floor. It may even wipe out the dominance of American tech companies.
Yeah, that's pretty much what happened before. More realistic companies rose from the ashes of the fantasy companies.
Let's be ready to welcome the new ones. What's been most of M7 have been doing except acquiring new innovations. I'm sure the next big ones will adopt Bitcoin on their balance sheets.
It wouldn't surprise me. The similarity is slapping a techie buzzword onto every product and massively overhyping how ready the technology is to be transformative.
