pull down to refresh

Anfield suffered the biggest surprise in the Champions League, this year. Liverpool won the first leg 0-1 and, with the second leg at home, they were confident to go through. However, Ousman Dembele scored in the early stages of the match and changed everything. It was a great match, going from box to box, with hardly time to breath in between. Plenty of opportunities in both sides but they could not transform them. Finally, the penalty shoot-out decided the winner and PSG goes through to the QF. One of the favourites is out.
No surprises in the other matches with Bayern, Inter and Barcelona also going through to the QF. All stackers who took part last night (@suraz, @grayruby, @user21000000 and @TNStacker) went through.
Tonight, two more stackers will be trying to join them.
At 6:45 PM, Lille and Dortmund will fight to get a spot in the next round. @Carresan will be supporting Lille to overcome the Black and Yellows. It’s going to be tight.
Then, at 9:00 PM, Arsenal will receive PSV in London. @undisciplined is supporting the Gunners after their historic 1-7 win in the Netherlands last week.
Other than these two, Madrid will watch the second leg of their two main teams, this time at the Metropolitano Stadium. Mbappé is doubt as he suffered an ankle injury over the weekend. Real Madrid is leading the tie 2-1.
Finally, Aston Villa will try to avoid surprise after beating Brugge last week 3-1 in Belgium.
Good luck to everyone!
PS: I will be busy tonight and not sure I can comment live as usual. Feel free to add your comments.

Are we playing on Full time results or ultimate results after penalty kicks?
reply
We have played full time results these rounds, that may include extra time. I mentioned in the Sunday post that I will not consider penalties.
reply
I'm sure you did and it went right over my head.

Congrats for going through to the next round! First leg of QF will be played on April 8-9th. Unfortunately , next week, national leagues and European contest will be paused as we are heading towards UEFA Nations League QF which involves National teams.

How come you picked Lille? Was it because of their home ground?
reply
Well, Lille completed a great group phase. They even beat Real Madrid and did not lose any match at home. It was worthy to try, I had the rebuy option available.
