I wasn't particularly upset about the 49ers cutting Kyle Juszczyk last week. He isn't the player he used to be but still a good blocker and a nice option in the pass game especially when CMC was out. But I am pretty pumped that they brought him back on a 2 year deal because that means if he plays out both years (still a big if, they might cut him again next year) he would reach the rare feat of being in the 10 year 49er club. The franchise takes that very seriously and give you a plaque on the wall for achieving it. So hopefully Juice gets there. If Kittle gets an extension this offseason (probable), it is likely he will also reach the 10 year mark.
Kyle is gonna Kyle. Seems he is making sure he has a well stocked arsenal on offense and leaving Robert Saleh, who they made the highest paid DC in the league, with a bare cupboard. Hopefully they told Saleh he can have the first 5 picks in the draft to address the needs on D, but I am not holding my breath.
Sats for all,
GR
